The Elmira College Term III Experience

This six-week term, beginning in April, offers students an opportunity to participate in a variety of special study options:

• Marine and Island Ecology in the Bahamas
• Off-Campus Courses in the U.S. and Abroad in such places as Paris, London, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Nepal
• Extraordinary on-campus course work in such areas as Jazz, American Mythologies, Investing Your Money, Mayan Culture, and The Golden Age of Television
• Internships
• Student Teaching
• Independent Study

These special study options are designed to enhance traditional coursework through innovative and adventurous approaches to learning. Term III provides students with the opportunity to take classes that fulfill graduation requirements and discover interests outside of their majors.
