Elmira College’s Speidel Gymnasium will be the site of the sixth annual Relay For Life Fundraiser on March 19 and March 20, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Relay For Life is an overnight event designed to celebrate those who have survived cancer and honor those who have passed away, as well as to raise money for cancer awareness, research, and programs of the American Cancer Society.

Each year, one of the highlights of the fundraiser is the Elmira College “Bald Eagles” event. A special fundraiser at Relay For Life, exclusive to Elmira College, “Bald Eagles” is an opportunity for participants to auction off the right to cut or shave their hair to those in the audience. The event raises hundreds of dollars and adds a great deal of humor during the long hours of the fundraiser each year.
