Hello Again,
Last Friday I had a chance to catch the both Soaring Eagle basketball teams in action against Alfred University. Both games we close but our EC teams pulled it out in the end. Women's basketball won in overtime and the Men protected their lead down the stretch. During a late time-out the announcer told the Elmira College fans that Men's Hockey won at the Domes 9-2 against Lebanon Valley College. At the time the Soaring Eagle Men had a small lead and the crowd was cheering for a win. After the announcement the crowd erupted and shortly after the Men closed the deal on Alfred and pulled out the win. After I got home I checked the score of the Women's Hockey game and they shut out Oswego State in Oswego. Then I thought to myself what a great night for EC Athletics. So congratulations to the coaches, players, training staff and athletics support staff for a great Friday night!
